This product, a new item being manufactured by well-known tabletop company Holdenby Designs, is manufactured in England but will be warehoused in and shipped from our facility in Georgia. Each gift box comes packed with 3 white ceramic pots, paints, paintbrush and the instructions required to complete the project. The pots are unglazed on the outside but glazed on the inside. The paints included are child safe lead-free acrylics. The pots do not need to be fired to complete the project. Although the pots are shaped like a traditional flowerpot and have the whole on the bottom, we have found that children (and adults) like to use them many different ways. Because of the inside glaze, the pots can be filled with candies or cookies and given as gifts to teachers, friends and family members. They can also be used as pencil holders for Mom or Dads desk, jewelry holders, party activities, etc. Additionally, we have found that although the gift set was intended for children, adult "crafters" love this kit also. Using paint, stenciling, and decoupage, beautiful results can be achieved.
